An Inoculation against Heresy (Jude 1:17-23)

Pastor Mark Winder, November 9, 2014
Part of the Miscellaneous series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

When Jude picked up his pen to write a general letter of encouragement to Christians he had hoped to write something about the vital Christian Fellowship so integral God’s redemptive work. But the Holy Spirit had other ideas and Jude, under the Spirit’s inspiration, instead confronts serious doctrinal error. And at the end of his letter he turns his attention to Christians. What particularly must Christians do to stand against heresy; what then should be their attitude be toward those who teach it? A vital message for the church in every age.
